History of cloud computing

Now, let’s talk a bit about the history of Cloud computing                 In 1960 John MacCharty was giving a speech at MIT  and there he suggested that computing can also be sold like a utility just like water and electricity. It was a great idea , but on that time it was not so easy, on that time the technology was not enough to change this idea in cloud computing.

The time changed, Technology grown up and then in 1999, salesforce.com  turn this idea into cloud computing. They started serve applications to users using a simple website. They started delivering storage to Enterprises for storing their data.

Then Amazon started providing cloud computing in 2002. in 2009  Google Apps started provide cloud computing. In fact all the big players started providing cloud computing just the difference is some were earlier and some of them were late.  like just take the example of Microsoft. In 2009 Microsoft also started providing us cloud computing and we all know that as Microsoft Azure .
