Know yourself better

Assertive is defined as someone who is confident and who has a strong will.  Being positive means being able to stand for your right as well as other people’s rights. Assertive people should be able to get their point without upsetting others or without bothering themselves. The thing that describes assertive people is self-confidence, but it should not come from feeling superior or pride. They should understand themselves and feel confident about who they are. The understanding should come from observation and self-evaluation. You should be less inclined to take things personally & learn to deal with another assertive person. When you are talking to someone, your statement should be bold and confident. You should be a good listener and understand what another person is trying to say. And being assertive doesn’t mean dominating those you are not supposed to be controlling when you are practicing to be assertive.

Assertive doesn’t come from within you have to build you a character within yourself & forcing a personality with you, the characters, and things which you don’t have in you. Some people lack self-confidence & some in good personality. Being Assertive is like essentially building yourself by adding good things in you and things you don’t have within you & it is like making a better version of yourself. This thing won’t happen in just days or weeks & it will take a lot of time may be a month or years, but once you become Assertive, there is no going back. So you are supposed to build yourself in such a way that you won’t disappoint yourself as well as other people. No one is born with a good personality and self-confident, these are the things which you are supposed to build yourself gradually with the pace of life it might not be easy, you might lose yourself in this process but or you might offend someone close to you, but it all up to you how you’ll put things in its place if it gets messy.  It’s not easy to keep yourself and other people happy, but that’s what you are supposed to do. Some people won’t like you for being Assertive, but some might love you for that. You must be able to express your feeling to another person by taking a fear of being rejected. You might think what if I get rejected, what if that person won’t like what I’m saying and because of that you back out, but what if that person likes it, what if that person won’t reject your feelings. Assertive is all about being self- confident and being positive about yourself and what you do.

These are the tips which will make you assertive. If you keep these things in your mind & practice it in your daily life, it will help you to be assertive. This processing method is one of the important factors it plays a very significant role. You cannot be assertive not only assertive without practice you cannot be anything or do anything. You cannot learn or implement new things in your life without practicing it. So if you want to learn to be assertive you require to keep the tips in your mind and practice it daily.
